Mix between raven and human, these half bird people are fierce, primal and love bright, shiny objects.

Thanks, everybody, for your comments! I would come on here more, but I've been pretty much plagued with viral ads and fake virus removal programs on deviantart, so I'm incredibly scared even to visit anymore. However, I just had to enter this contest. How do we find out who the finalists are?

This is totally awesome. The pose and costuming is so dynamic and full of energy. Her hair, her fingers, the spray of cloth and feathers along her hips all make this really pop. The coloring too is really a boon-- what a lovely palette you chose. It unifies the whole design. My only critique would be on the feet-- the left foot looks a little wonky, as if the toes were tree roots instead of boned extremities. However, the texturing on the feet is amazing. In general, the painterly effect of the coloring is awesome-- especially around the knees. I love those knees.
