I had a nightmare about this monster about a month ago... I think I've been playing too much Silent Hill.
It was a really involved dream, where I was going to this school, and I didn't know it at first, but it was either for people who generated monsters and needed to keep them contained, or people who were meant to fight monsters... because beneath the school, there was this room filled with these horrible monsters created by the minds of the students I think, and it was a trap room... these metal wires would shoot from all walls and ceiling and stab through the monsters. Somehow I got caught in the room, and it was almost completely dark, and this thing suddenly shot up in front of me with the eyes on its neck blinking, and it made this awful sound as it was stabbed and hoisted up on the wires... I thought I was going to get stabbed too, but somehow they missed me. Dream logic, go figure.
Anyway, it was hard to draw this guy because in my dream, he was so amorphous and it was dark, but I fudged a lot of it. I really remember the long neck with the eyes though, and the open wound on its belly. I think in the dream the monsters were fears or something we had, and I kind of feel like he's my fear of surgery.
There's no such thing as too much Silent Hill. Th'movie's great. Go see. Also, this I'd like to see in full color. It looks like an awesomely gruesome monster. The barbed wire would be nice to see et all. *thumbs up*
Everytime I see your stuff, you just get better and better.
When I saw this, I my first thought was of Silent Hill monsters, but I blamed that idea on the recent hype about the movie...guess it wasn't entirely unfounded. ^^
The detail in this is awesome. I can't wait to see it in color.

Looks like something out of They, although the film-makers of the Silent Hill movie may warrant something like this if they ever do a sequel. I can't see myself wanting to draw stuff like this, more of a fan of machines...
